Pro Bono Commitment
Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP is committed to giving back to the community. The best known recognition for our professional commitment and pro bono activity is DePaul University College of Law naming its Family Law Center the Schiller DuCanto and Fleck Family Law Center. The Schiller DuCanto and Fleck Family Law Center is the largest center in the nation at an accredited law school that focuses on teaching students family law and undertaking research for the betterment of family law practice.
In addition to our partners’ extensive pro bono activity, Schiller DuCanto & Fleck’s associates also are committed to give at least 40 hours a year to pro bono activities. The firm maintains a committee dedicated to promoting pro bono activities.
The firm has provided pro bono services for many organizations, including The Pro Bono Center For Disability and Elder Law, The Chicago Legal Clinic, Cabrini Green Legal Aid, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Prairie State Legal Services (Kane County), Lake County Circuit Court Mediation Service, Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, and The DuPage County Legal Assistance Foundation.
Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP has also received recognition for its pro bono activities, including awards from DePaul University College of Law for the firm’s Outstanding Contribution To Public Service, from The Legal Aid Bureau of Metropolitan Family Services for Exceptional Commitment To Pro Bono Service By A Law Firm, and from The Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc., for Outstanding Efforts In Making The Legal System Accessible To Those In Need, and from The DuPage County Legal Assistance Foundation for our commitment to the ideals of the Foundation, the legal profession and to pro bono legal services.
