Ms. Gamrath began her legal career as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Thomas R. Rakowski of the First District Illinois Appellate Court. She joined Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP in late 1997 and concentrates in all types of matrimonial matters. Ms. Gamrath is a skilled writer, researcher, and trial and appellate advocate. She has argued and presented cases successfully to the Illinois Supreme, Appellate and Circuit Courts. Ms. Gamrath teaches as an adjunct faculty member and guest of The John Marshall Law School. Ms. Gamrath is an active bar leader and frequent author and lecturer. She has published articles for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education (IICLE), Illinois Bar Journal, Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, Appellate Law Review, Chicago Lawyer, and other legal publications. Her comprehensive paper on Motions to Vacate and Reconsider Judgments is presented from time to time by judges and taught to new judges at the Illinois Judicial Conference.
