Natalie Smith is an Associate at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP who focuses her practice on complex business financial matters and custody disputes involving the dissolution of marriage for high asset clients. Her background in business law, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication and listening skills allow her to fine tune her approach to suit the individual needs and goals of her clients.

Natalie's early legal education and clerking positions with various international and Chicago-based firms, ignited her passion for courtroom advocacy, ultimately inspiring her to embark on a career in family law. During her time in law school, she served a judicial extern for the Honorable Grace G. Dickler, now retired from the Cook County Domestic Relations Division. She also interned for a large international commercial law firm in the United Kingdom where she worked directly with the firm’s family law department. She met one-on-one with clients and conducted legal research on child abduction, divorce, and child arrangement orders. She also handled matters related to divorce petitions, prenuptial agreements, and corresponded with opposing counsel. Additionally, Natalie worked for a Chicago-based litigation law firm, as well as for an e-discovery software company where she assisted paralegals and attorneys with document productions.
