A Pride Celebration: A Conversation With Congressperson Marie Newman And The Equality Act

Schiller DuCanto & Fleck is pleased to announce that Adam Zebelian will co-moderate a conversation with Congressperson Marie Newman (U.S. Representative from Illinois’s 3rd Congressional District) to discuss topics such as the Equality Act, transphobia in Congress, the January 6, 2021 insurrection and more as part of a CLE webinar presentation hosted by LAGBAC (Chicago’s LGBTQ+ Bar Association) on Monday, June 7th at 6:30 p.m.

The month of June marks Pride Month, an annual celebration when the LGBTQ+ community comes together to raise awareness regarding equal justice and community, and honor the 1969 Stonewall riots. This liberation movement invites everyone to commemorate the valuable contributions made by LGBTQ+ individuals and support their efforts against ongoing discrimination and injustice.
