Adam Zebelian Named One Of Law Bulletin Media’s 2021 “40 Under Forty” Illinois Attorneys To Watch

Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP is pleased to announce that Adam Zebelian has been named as one of Law Bulletin Media’s “40 Under Forty” Illinois attorneys to watch for 2021.

Adam was selected out of more than 1,000 nominations based on his passion, leadership, intelligence, community involvement, and commitment to the legal profession. A former criminal and civil prosecutor, Adam’s wide-ranging litigation experience has enabled him to uniquely serve his family law clients’ needs, both emotionally and financially.

“Adam joined us as a former prosecutor with unlimited energy and an interest in family law. He’s applied those trial skills and has since developed many more, earning the respect of attorneys and judges in the field of family law,” says Donald Schiller, a co-founding partner of Schiller DuCanto & Fleck.

Prior to joining Schiller DuCanto & Fleck, Adam worked as an assistant state’s attorney litigating countless criminal and civil matters. His extensive trial experience, including financial crimes cases, gives him the capacity to try complex matters, as well as the ability and creativity to achieve out-of-court resolutions.

When nominating Adam as one of Illinois’ top young lawyers, judges, opposing counsel, and former colleagues note his preparedness, attention to detail, professionalism, and exceptional litigation skills with an ability to think quickly on his feet.

"Adam excels at everything he puts his mind to," said Matthew Jannusch, an assistant state's attorney with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. "He is an exceptional litigator and very good legal researcher. He exudes civility and professionalism everywhere he goes whether in the courtroom, in the halls of justice, at a bar association function or volunteering at a community-based organization. He is a model attorney and an example for his peers."

Adam earned his J.D. from Penn State University Dickinson School of Law. Among his many career achievements, Adam has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Illinois Super Lawyers, and Illinois Leading Lawyers. In 2020, Leading Lawyers Magazine profiled Adam on his fascinating background as a criminal and civil prosecutor and how his unique set of skills have helped him succeed in the practice of family law.
