Adam Zebelian Speaks On Recognizing And Addressing Implicit Bias In the Legal Profession

Schiller DuCanto & Fleck is pleased to announce that Adam Zebelian will present on an expert panel on “Recognizing & Addressing Implicit Bias in the Legal Profession” on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Attendees will gain insights on best practices for eradicating the effects of implicit bias, especially for groups who are under-represented in the bar and on the bench.

As part of the panel discussion presented by The Diversity Scholarship Foundation and North Suburban Bar Association, Adam will be joined by the Honorable Megan Goldish (Circuit Court Judge of Cook County), the Honorable Jesse G. Reyes (Illinois Appellate Court Judge, First District, Fourth Division) and other esteemed professionals in the legal field.

In addition to Adam’s complex and sophisticated family law practice, he is a strong advocate for those who are less privileged. He continues his dedication to community service through his volunteer work for the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network and serves as a guest lecturer at the Chicago-Kent College of Law on topics such as the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ domestic violence survivors. Adam currently holds the position of Vice-President on the LAGBAC Board of Directors and plays a role in planning the Unity Award Dinner for Diversity Scholarship Foundation each year.
