Andrea Muchin Discusses Strategies For Representing Survivors Of Domestic Abuse

Schiller DuCanto & Fleck is pleased to announce that Andrea Muchin will be a featured speaker at the virtual CLE program titled “Strategies for Representing Survivors of Domestic Abuse” hosted by SHALVA on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. CDT.

Andrea will share insights on best practices for engaging with clients who are survivors of domestic abuse, both in and out of the courtroom. Often times, those who have experienced trauma in the past can find the legal process triggering. It is important for attorneys to know how to help clients navigate through highly emotional legal proceedings and have the ability to do so with patience, empathy and understanding.  As part of the panel discussion, Andrea will be joined by other legal professionals as well as the Honorable Renee G. Goldfarb. Attendees will learn how to be an efffective advocate for survivors of domestic abuse.
