Andrea Muchin Shares Insights On Obtaining And Enforcing Orders Of Protection

Schiller DuCanto & Fleck is pleased to announce that Andrea Muchin was a panelist at the virtual CLE program titled “Tips on Obtaining and Enforcing Orders of Protection” hosted by SHALVA, in partnership with Between Friends, on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. CDT.

In honor of Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the program covered the complex process attorneys and litigants navigate before, during, and after obtaining an order of protection. The presentation is approved for 1.5 hours or professional responsibility credit. More than 350 attendees participated in the presentation.

Andrea shared insights on the program segment “Deciding to File for Order of Protection/Exclusive Possession.”  

Moderated by attorney Scott Tzinberg, other panelists included Judge Judith Rice, Acting Presiding Judge of the Domestic Violence Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County; William Evans, Patrol Sergeant of the City of Highland Park; Sylvie Manaster, Assistant State’s Attorney of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office; and Aileen Robinson, Assistant Director of the Crime Victim Services of the Chicago Police Department.

Andrea’s vast array of experience covers all facets of family law including sophisticated financial issues, business valuations, maintenance, child support, child custody, removal, and visitation issues. In addition, Andrea has also negotiated and drafted numerous pre- and post-nuptial agreements and amicably settled hundreds of cases.
