Chimene Granados is an Associate at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP. She focuses her practice on complex business financial issues and assists clients with all aspects of dissolution of marriage. Known for her strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills, Chimene prides herself on providing clients with the tools they need to reach a favorable outcome and lay the foundation for a successful future.
Chimene’s calling to direct her passion for courtroom advocacy, her talent for listening, and her analytical skills to practicing family law came early in her study of law. As a result, she clerked at Schiller DuCanto and Fleck LLP throughout law school and hit the ground running when she passed the bar.

She earned her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 2019, where she focused her studies on business and tax-related courses, and, as a result, earned a Certificate in Taxation. During her time at DePaul, Chimene was selected as a Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Fellow, and a Summer Scholar. Additionally, Chimene served as the President of the Child & Family Law Association as well as the Student Representative of the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center. During law school, Chimene volunteered her time and was a recipient of the Benjamin Hooks Distinguished Public Service Award and the President’s Award of Service after completing over 200 hours of pro bono work.
Chimene earned her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Psychology, Criminal Justice and Criminology from Loyola University Chicago, where she was a member and Program Captain of LUC’s Mock Trial team. Prior to pursuing her legal career, Chimene worked full-time at the Leaning Tower YMCA as the Aquatics and Membership Director.
In her free time, Chimene enjoys 5k runs with friends.
