Su Wang is an associate with more than 17 years of experience writing for the Illinois Appellate Court, as a judicial law clerk to Justice Aurelia Pucinski and as a staff attorney in the Research Division of the First Judicial District. Su focuses his practice on the prosecution and defense of appeals. He uses an interdisciplinary approach to solve complex problems and guide his clients toward their goals.
Prior to serving on the appellate court, Su was a staff attorney in the criminal division of the Office of the Chief Judge for Thomas R. Fitzgerald and was assigned to Judge Bertina E. Lampkin to assist with postconviction matters. He also clerked in the Welfare Litigation Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General.

Su obtained his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, where he served separate terms as the Commander and Treasurer of Sigma Nu’s Gamma Omicron Chapter. Outside the office, Su enjoys blacksmithing, welding, and sharing laughs with his wife, two children, and canine companion.
